23rd December 2007
x'mas celebration @ chao's

with chao, thommy, dimi, wilson, juan, huisi,
drea, lav and me
what's xmas without spreading a bit of joy?
since, it's the first (and perhaps the last) x'mas we'll spend together as a group,
i introduced lav and drea to the "art of spoofing"

first up!
{ Chao }
having zhng-ed so many people's cars
(and more), Johnny deserves his very own
zhng-ed car... it's even a Honda!

doesn't this stunning 4-wheeler
look like those in showrooms?
check out the red and blue lights...

complete with symmetrical dragon stickers
on both sides for that 'fierce' look...

nothing like ur name on the number plate
and 2 huge exhaust pipe to sound 'fierce'

not to mention the other enhancements...
base tubes that hog the whole boot,
DOHC (damn on and hiong charger),
a Mugen (wu xian) sticker
and a damn huge spoiler to fly!

{ Thommy }
a box fit for a KK Boss
it came complete with
an authentic Bloomberg medal and certificate
for being Bloomberg's most loyal viewer...
(hell, this guy even read Bloomberg
during our xmas celebration!),
30 chocolate balls (to remind him of his astounding
diet of 30 egg whites a day),
KK Boss horn and customised name cards

For the resident KK Beng Beng,
{ Dimi }
he needed the necessary up-to-date, hippest
beng accessories and tools to hun Katong!

here u see in a confiscated-property-like display
a Threat Pad (Asian Mafia Edition) with all the possible
gangster curses and vulgarities (the latest product
by 3M so bengs like Dimi can save on spray paint),
Pay-On-Time Vouchers and
a sleek weapon of mass destruction...
the Parang (only for a true-blue Katong Kia)

what's a self-acclaimed Katong Kia
without the ultimate Katong look?
hand-painted and washable...
u'd think it emerged from Project Runway!

Lastly,
{ Wilson }
the final frontier
his gift has deep meaning... more than just a pun.
not easy to manufacture at all as it requires immense
Primary School Science Knowledge
and the colours and shadings that we tried to do using
poster paint are rather accurate of the actual planets
in space... (thank goodness Pluto was discounted for)
the minute character made up of foil
was a huge challenge.

a 3D feel of outer space...
(actual thing looks better than in picture)

lav, i don't think we can make another one for u...
we'll go blind. sorry.
